Your beads are gorgeous. You do such good work on these little pleasures.

It was a busy weekend at my house. My DD and I made 14 batches of hard candy, 1 batch of Vanilla truffles, 1 batch of chocolate truffles and 2 batches of peanut butter balls ...one with white choc. and one with reg choc. The house sure smells good from all the oils used in the hard candy.
Then DD decided she needs me to make a tree skirt and 6 stockings to match. And I need to get them done this week....geesh. So today I will start cutting the fabrics.
CC, will do, sent you a freind request and will send as soon as you ok. I understand it will take awhile ,no big deal . just when you get to it.I'm in no hurry . Barbara
EAT!! SLEEP !! QUILT!!
Well the plan, again, is to finish the labels. Then, hubby is coming home early and we are going to town to get a Turkey for Christmas, they are never on sale at Christmas. I sure hope it is not too too busy. Wish me luck :)
Life is like a quilt...bits & pieces, joy & sorrow, stitched with love

Oh those gals did some really nice work for you, Barbara! I've never seen a border like the one with multiple blues modified chevron - like it! And whoever did the outer border was able to almost perfectly match your mariner's compass. Wow!

Thanks Nancy ,didn't they all just do a wonderful job. it is just amazing. I wish the picture would have come out alittle better.
We're having an incredibly beautiful day here in Minnesota in November. It's so nice out that I've got the furnace turned off and a few windows open to air out the house. DH is getting over a nasty cold, and I have been trying very hard not to catch it. Can't deal with that on top of recouperating from facial surgery. So I'm hoping to blow all the cold germs out of the house today. :-) I finally finished washing windows, too.
Tomorrow I see the surgeon to have 50 stitches taken out. Ooo - wish me luck!
Very pretty Barbara, you all did good.
Thanks Spud, I thought they all did wonderful .

You've got it Nancy, I'm sure it will all be okay... (((HUGS)))
Barbara, whoever did all of your round robins did fantastic job. But then you gave them a great start with your mariners star. Anyway, you have a beautiful quilt. Ginny
barbara, you and the ladies did a wonderful job on your RR quilt.
nancy, your stitches will come out easily. that was one of the tensest parts of my working, taking out the doc's stitches. they were always way back by the uvula, with overgrown tissue, no anesthetic, and working in a mirror. your's are right up front, outside and will be a breeze.
