Very cute CC, you have been busy.
Life is like a quilt...bits & pieces, joy & sorrow, stitched with love
Nana, that is a very difficult decision to make. My friend had three vertebrae fused together in her lower back envelope though the specialist wanted her to wait. She hasn't regretted her decision once since. At the time she was at the point where she couldn't do her regular job and had to work on modified.
i want to give you a big hug too and know you will come with the best decision for you. Big warm quilty hig.
Angèle from NWO
Cc I love all the beads - so so cute - you are so very talented - working with something so small - I am all thumbs. I love the little reindeer and that one santa is fantastic... the one snowman looks like he has a cute little carrot beak... love them and baby Sprout - well what can we say - Sprout is probably very proud of his Mama... thank you for the eye candy this evening.
I needed something to make me smile - was on the phone with Barbara and had to say bye - my neck started to hurt excruciatingly - couldn't be that I was lifting the Robert Jordan books off the shelf in the back living room - DH doesn't need them there anymore and I needed a place to put the 30 + quilt books I have been looking at for the last week... reference books to give me ideas for the new round robin and some quilting ideas for Rita's quilt - and some Sunbonnet Sue books as I want to make my grand kids sue and sam quilts... but anyway... was moving the one group of books - standing up on a chair and well just say it was too much weight for my neck to appreciate... it will be better - just needs a rest...
I told Barbara I think maybe I know what is causing the pain in my chest - it got worse today and I think it has to do with my back - the strain I may have put on the back yesterday while I was quilting Rita's quilt and not setting up the table to hold the weight of the quilt... I didn't quilt today but had to move those books - when will I learn... never...teehee... smiling through the pain!
Sukochi, please send my thoughts and prayers to Frances. So sorry.
thea congratulations on this new addition to your family. Yes you will be very busy.
Angel - thank you - am trying to get all the quilts done so that I can focus on things for the new baby - My DDIL has quite a list for me to make - teehee... I need to get the Pfaff up and embroidering while I sew - that is the easiest way to do it... it will be so much fun though... now to get that computer charged up that has all my designs on it - the battery doesn't work on it anymore and I have to plug it in - no biggie just have to make space. Am expecting unexpected guests sometime on the Thanksgiving weekend so am trying to get the house *** and span so I won't worry about them coming in... they always try and surprise me - but since I kind of expect it this time I'll be ready - ordered some hors d'oeuvres from Schwann's to have in the freezer so I won't have to bake anything... ordered pies from them too this time for the Thanksgiving dinner... hoping they have them and didn't run out... we shall see...
Marsha, you have a beautiful family. It is such a joy to have so many of them gathered together. All that love and hugs to go around.
Debbi-do what a great haul. I think most quilters around here donate their stash to people they know and understand ths sentimental value of the fabric.
so as for meeting and first dates... Well my DH of 33 years was actually my brother's roommate in university. My brother helped me get settled in my residence room and we went for lunch at McD...where I officially met him. First date.. I was chatting with friends from home when he came to visit. He sat on the bed and waited for everyone of them to leave before he asked me out for coffee. After three years and many adventures, we finally got married. Can't say life is dull or boring around him. After many moves and three beautiful boys, we are looking forward to retirement in a couple of years. This is when I truly hope to have the pleasure of meeting many of you at retreats.

Monday, Monday.....who sang that? The whole son is in my head this a.m. but I can't remember. Senility set in. Oh, MY.
Beautiful day. Bright sun shiny day. Supposed to be in the high 60's. Should take a walk in the park.
Y'all check out QUilting Is My Therapy BLog post for today. She is showing this maching quilted quilt. The quilting is just drop dead gorgeous. A must see, for usre.
Yesterday a.m. was the strangest, and scariest day of my life. Satan SPOKE to me. I am not kidding. I had had this go round with a 18 year old who ran away with an accused molester. and her family, well, the whole church has been hurt. She got married last Monday and Tues. announced she is pregnant. I unloaded on her, much as everyone else in our church. Anyway, yesterday a.m. Satan said that she had gone to the ER, and her baby was in trouble and it was because of what I said. This was before we even left for church. I went to say hi to Lea, Pastor's wife, asking where the Nolan's were. She said someone said that this dughter, of their, HAD BEEN TAKEN TO THE ER. I headed for the door and was stopped my our Pastor. He said he would call and find out what was going on. For me to just calm down and sit down. He called and she had been at the ER on Sat. nite. But all was fine. How's that for people who don't believe there is a devil. Freaked me out.
I worked on my Secret Santa handmade gift yesterday aft. It is going to be so dang cute that I am going to make a bunch.
On tv this a.m,. they showed a bunch of people camping outside a Best Buy waiting for it to open Friday!! They would have to be giving away millions of dollars to get me to do that.
HAve a quilty day.
CC, you've been busy, cute beads!
Sukochi ,Mama's and the Papa's did that song in the late 60's early 70's. Barbara
