EQ7 users, I have a question for you. I just found what appears to be a pretty good deal on EQ7 at Eleanorburns.com. Approx $150 with free shipping till Friday. My questoin is about scanning fabrics. Do you have to own a separate scanner or can you use photos or does it come with what you need to scan the fabric:? Thanks for your help!

Debbie if you go to EQ 7 web site they have updated fabrics you can add all the time. they have a new fabric list every month and its free to download ,suppose to go right to your eq library, that is also a good dea on The EQ7 , worth the cost.
EAT!! SLEEP !! QUILT!!
Barb, I saw that but I have tons of older fabrics in my stash and they say you can scan your own fabrics in but they don't cover the actual scanning part, just what to do with it once it's there.
Debbie on that one you may have to wait for Kris to answer ,She 's the guru on that . She may see this question sooner if you go to groups and ask on the EQ7 group ,we have there. Barbara
Nan if you have faith in your surgeon, you can not go wrong. Sounds like he knows his business. So many don't.. God is in control. He is the untimate healer. I will pray for your success in this to ease all.
Going to the "medium" big city today. They have a Michaels so could find a few things for Secret Santa. Not much there for quilter's though. But, I will have fun looking for baubles for my post cards.
Have a quilty day.
Quiltless:About a month of babble and then went to two syllable words and a few days later she's into sentences!
Watch out, Kath... At this rate, she'll be asking for a cell phone on her second birthday! LOL

I find taking a picture is easier.
Leslie :you scan it then you have to add it to your library
Yes but.. HOW do you scan it? do you have to have your own separate scanner (hand held or flat bed)?
Sorry, I edited this post and then it posted twice and took forever to post.
Life is like a quilt...bits & pieces, joy & sorrow, stitched with love

Debbie, you have to have a scanner and you save the photo and then you can put it in your fabric library. There are directions in the EQ7 Help files. I scanned fabric a couple of years ago, but I have not used EQ since. You can use photos, like if you buy fab online and there is a thumbnail of the fabric you can save it and put it in your library. There is a lot of info in the group and Kris and a couple of others are quite knowledgeable about the program.
Is there a bunny shop hop this month?
Poor Sprout started sniffling a little last night around bed time. By 11 he had a nasty croupy cough. I was up past 4 holding him and rockinghim. We slept in the reclyner so he could breath easier. He had a big old boogery grin for his Daddy this morning, but he still has a little fever. I hope it burns that nasty old virus right in the butt!
Quilters are people who strip so they won't go topless.
