DonnaB, so sorry about your friends DH... She does have a good friend in you.
Life is like a quilt...bits & pieces, joy & sorrow, stitched with love
Frances, that looks like you will be having a lot of fun.
Barbara, those are amazing...
Yeah Barbara. Glad to hear Thea is feeling some better today. And I too know when the weather is changing here too. We are due to have your weather system head here tonight so the bottom will drop out of the thermometer. Yeah Thea, you listen to Barbara, you hear? Ginny
Frances, DH and BIL were at home. Only me and SIL went to Las Vegas. You know the strory, What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas......lol BIL was in Vegas a couple years ago and regrets not doing it. My DH couldn't do it because of medical issues. But it was really fun. I was raised on a farm and it was no different than swinging on a rope from the hay loft and dropping into a pile of hay. Or swinging on a rope over a creek and dropping in. Loved it.

Barbara, your compasses are beautiful. What are your plans for them? Are you going to make a quilt with them all or use them as something special on a bag or pillow? Thanks for calling Thea and finding out she is better. I hope and pray she will listen to you and call your cardiologist tomorrow.

I have been making kimekomi balls to sell as Christmas ornaments at the bazaars, with the first one being this coming Saturday. I think I am getting the hang of it, but it is still very slow. I am making some with a western theme. Lots of Natives/cowboys here. I also plan to do some with photo transfers. Here is what I have so far.
