Sukochi ,I get my water soluble thread form Superior threads,   it is called Vanish . I just buy it online . works great  but just use ti for the things that need a basting like stitch . I would not use in on a whole quilt ,even though I 'm sure they may be some who do . but it is a little to costly for me to do that .

Barbara:
That is where I have my problem ,doing the designing.
If I can, I'll post the one I have started.  I found that blocked out the size I wanted, divided it into areas and broke the areas down.  that makes it easier,  I also found that as I went the area designs changed and I was more comfortable with the elements in each area.  Carry on, paper is cheap.

the above post is what I started with.  I drew a square on my page and kept going.  then I refined the corners in another page. i added notes on how I wanted the design to go as well as notes on what I was thinkging at the time with the bamboo border as well as the circle in the middle (roughed in fish) help me go forward when I have time,  .... later... to work on it.

Beautiful job, Vivian! How lucky you are to be able to draw well. I get lost with a straight line! Even my stick people are physically challenged!

Ok - I have to add my two cents worth - albeit a bit later than the rest of you  Our version was "Good night, sleep tight.  Don't let the bedbugs bite.  If they do, catch a few and I'll fry them for you."  I know - ICK!!!

Thea:
there has to be a nest that is too low to the ground

My husband and I were sitting on a bench in our yard enjoying the evening.  One of our cats was sitting just  a few feet away just inside a little clearing in our little bush area beside the house.  He looked like a china cat, all perfect with his tail wrapped around him, just taking in the night air.  A small flock of wrens flew by and the cat went straight up in the air and with one paw, hooked one out of the air.  They do have their ways.

Went to the Dr. he said I do have an infection.  Ears are full of liquid, again.  So, I get two more meds to take.  Another allergy and an antiboitic.  yay  At least I didn't go for nothing.  Praying I get better soon so I can get to quilting!!!!  I keep surfing and buying stuff, since I can't quilt . ..    :-)  Hubby will be glad when I feel better too!  LOL!

Praying for you Spud!  I have a fantastic dentist, he is great, but I still don't like going . . .
