Thea:Sukochi, I know what you mean - everyone is probably sick and tired of hearing about both of our pains but isn't it just great to have a place where we can just go and let it off our chests a little.
I might not reply a lot but I do look here most days & I feel that it is a priviledge to be able to pray for everyone that has pain, health issues & problems etc. I also enjoy laughing & rejoicing with everyone when things are going well.
So Thea & Sukochi I hope you can feel the hugs I'm sending your way today as well as my prayers. Take care & know that you are being supported by others that only know you through cyberspace but would like to meet you one day.
love Clare xx

Here is a quilt that I'm working on for great granddaughter. These are just a few blocks which are all appliqued than you assemble them. I have to make 2 blocks with butterflies, 2 blocks with snails, 2 blocks with caterpillars, 2 heart blocks and once top is assembled there will be an appliqued block with a Ladybug on it. By the time I finish all the appliqued blocks I should be no longer a beginner on appliqueing anything. I am also working on a RR quilt. I have the final border to do on this quilt, and of course I chose to do an appliqued border. I have one border done, and have three more borders to finish before I can attach to quilt. Still have 2 blocks of catterpillars to do, and 1 more butterfly block before I can complete assembling the top for great granddaughter. RR is taking priority as I have to try and finish that one by the end of the month. I am hoping.

Pat, your quilt is going to be darling. Can't wait to see it all finished.
We've made it as far as Seattle. Our next flight doesn't leave until 11, so there's a bit of waiting to do. We'll get to Spokane at midnight, and after dropping off cousin dearest, driving to auntie #2's house, picking up auntie #1's car, and going on into sandpoint, we should be home about, oh, 2ish 3ish in the A of M. It is a long day. But, my sweetie is home waiting for me. We haven't seen each other for a few weeks. It's a crazy life we live.

Quilting My Rainbow
Pat,
Your quilt is coming along beautifully! I too, can't wait to see it all completed...
Still waiting for your fabric to arrive to complete your final border. So excited.
A quicl note to all my bestest quilty friends.
The contrast tastes like a banana milkshake. thank you. Lord. I can live with that. and not gag with every drink. Also, drinking with a straw helps. Hope I am OK in doing that.
Last night I was sitting in bed reading a funny little book by Phillip Gulley, a Quaker Minister, and told Jim that I feel light as a feather. There is no stress, no sadness, no worry. I am just full of the love of my Lord and the support of all of you!. (((((HUGS))))).
So, off to the next part, the CT. I am covered in hives today. Can't take benedryl, either. Oh, well. I have itched before.
Have a beatiful day and thank God for your lives, homes, family and fabric!!

Raining here today in Georgia....a perfect day to go into my studio and practice on my new longarm. I'm learning slowly and realizing what it takes....practice, practice, practice.
Sukochi, happy that the contrast has a pleasant taste, T&P with you today

Called in a sick day for work, not feeling very spiffy this morn.
I am so glad that you are feeling peaceful , Sukochi. The hives will go away when you get over your tests today ,I hope. Prayers are with you. Ginny
Sounds perfect , Gini, to have someone waiting home waiting for you. It sounds like you had a really great time in NY. Ginny
Hi Pat, Well you used to live quite a ways from me, north and west. I live in Waterford. A lot of lakes and trees here, which look beautiful now , but will soon be shedding gigantic amounts of leaves. LOL Ginny
Oh, I think your great granddaughter is going to love, love, love her quilt. Ginny
