Vivian, your sewing room is great and I do love your cutting table. I am so happy I got to meet you and experience your sense of humor.
One of the funniest moments of the retreat (yes I do have a dark side) was when you "flapped" your quilt as you folded it and Gini's little squares, all sorted out, went flying in all directions. The looks on your and Gini's faces was absolutely priceless.
It seems like its going to be forever before the next retreat - sigh
Boy, I missed all the fun Maggie!
Life is like a quilt...bits & pieces, joy & sorrow, stitched with love
Vivian, I love your sewing room, and the view, and your new table! And I am going to get a wine holder for the paper rolls, too. What a great idea. Super to be with you at the retreat. I may steal your design for a flannel quilt after I finish Dad's Bricks flannel quilt.
I see deer in my back yard, too. Love nature; the birds, raccoons, squirels, bunnies, fox, chipmunks. The squirrels had me laughing a lot last summer :-).

Quilting My Rainbow
Thank you, Jacy, Vivian, Ginny, and Agnes! I am excited to see where this project leads me, also. Purple and circles are waaayyyyy out of my comfort zone! But it has been fun so far. Will post pic when it has decided what it wants to become.
Sukochi--Hope all goes smoothly and as expected for you. I'll be sending good thought your way on the 23rd.
Your blocks are fantastic. This quilt will be stunning when completed.
You have a beautiful sewing space. Love your new cutting table.
Gee Gini. It sounds like you are in for a very interesting trip.
What a beautiful sewing room Vivian! I am so envious of you light, the high ceilings, the clean space and the long arm!!! Yup I'm very very envious! I probably have about a quarter of your space and since its in the basement, I only have mid afternoon natural light coming in. As for neatness...well lets just say that no one sees in my room, but me.
Thanks Spud for asking to see Vivian's sewing room.
Marie, I love your hibiscus flower.all my flowers have been long gone.
Angèle from NWO
Max I love your blocks, and the strong colors. Whatever you choose to do, it will look stunning. I like your confidence in color choices, and patterns you create. Sighhhhhhh, how I wish I had a tiny portion of your creativity and confidence!
Sukochi, I hope all will be resolved after your surgery. It is no fun feeling miserable every time you eat, or lay down or have stress in your life. Now that you have a date for the surgery, keep up with your walking and make sure you stay healthy. I will be thinking and praying for you.
Are any of you south Texas quilters planning on going to the quilt show in Blanco on Saturday? Do you want to get together before/during/after?

Spudgrandma:Jacy, What was the applique paper that you so graciously gave me at the retreat called? And also, did you say that you got it at Walmart?
Spud, it's called Heat n Bond lite and it come in a purple package, don't buy the red package, it's 'no sew' and about impossible to sew through. They sell it at Walmart and Joann's.
