Ginny--I agree with Joni. I rarely use eggs in my dough. Now if you were out of yeast that would be a different matter.

That's OK but I want to follow Nana's recipe. I frequently make dinner rolls and they are from a sweet dough basic recipe. My family just wouldn't accept anything less. They would think I went to the store and got frozen dough. It is what they have gotten used to. - and me too. Ginny
joni, i was raised on a farm. chickens don't lay well in the winter. my dad read that you could get chickens to lay eggs in the cold weather if you added cayenne pepper to their food. my job was to fix the mash for the hens in the winter, mom thought they needed hot food when it was really cold. two scoops of ground grain, boiling water, 1 tablespoon of cayenne, mix and serve. we were serving many hens, so the mash was mixed in an old milk bucket. it was all i could do to carry it to the henhouse. the chickens loved it, but i didn't notice them laying more eggs.

Had to laugh regarding the cruise control, it has taken me until yesterday to find the right combination to get my cruise to work. It took me 2 days to even find it. On my other car it was located in the windshield wiper arm. Not this one, it as located right on the left side of the steering wheel, but I couldnt understand the symbols. LOL Ginny

OOps, it is slowing down on this site somewhat now. but Marie, I was zoning out on the problems and frustratins of the day and completely concentrating on my cutting. Oh, oh and I was happy when I got home and I found a package of fabric I had ordered from craft connection. It was from an outdated line and they were the only ones on-line who listed it in stock, so next I can work on my greatgranddaughters Christmas quilt. Ginny
I have a couple of bread and roll recipes that call for eggs in the dough and a couple that don't. I always use eggs in my cinnamon roll dough. It makes the dough lighter and richer. But I agree Ginny. I think it is all what you get used to.
