Guess I was lucky yesterday, I wasn't home to get online until early evening.  I was having my very own crisis situations yesterday. Saw 2 doctors and got some bad situations straightened out and then went to the car dealership with some unresolved problems with my new car. Got that taken care of partially - have to go back Monday to finish the problems.  I ws exhausted physically and mentally by the time I got home so I cut some quilt blocks for my current quilt that I am working on.  Just finished cutting some setting strips-  and I am ready to get started now.

I had planned on making my cinnamon rolls yesterday after not being able to make them the day before as there was only 1 lonely little egg in my refrig. and CC wasn't close enough to borrow one from.   Will get some eggs today so I can make the rolls after I start swing my strips together.   Gnny

Ginny, glad you were able to get things straightened out.

I wish I had known you needed some eggs, my hens are about to overwhelm me with them.

I have been having issues with my new car also, the cruise has stopped working, have to take it in for them to fix, thank goodness for warranties.

Thanks Leslie and Barbara.

Where is the best place to get the hexagon papers?  I'd like to make one of the wallhangings in the book but can't even imagine making all those papers myself.

Linda:
Sukochi, I've been to more Revelation Bible studies than you have fingers and toes. It is one of the most beautiful books in the Bible. I don't understand why people are so afraid of it. The description of Heaven is amazing. I look forward to the day I arrive. I was almost there a little over 4 years ago, but God said no not quite yet I still have something for you  to do on earth

I am not afraid. I just think what happens to the earth is scary. I am/spirits so ready to go. I think most of the people who are afraid are those who hear of this but do not have God in their lives. In Bible study, we discussed what the men/spirits on the horses brought to the earth and it's effects. It is a fascinating study and I am just enjoying this so much. I remember as a teenager, our click (4 of us) were sunbathing and talking about all the things going on in the world that looked like the end was near to us. Ha! that was in 1969. Here in 2012, it looks even worse.

You are truly blessed by the Lord.

Sukochi

What a bummer Leslie.  Will they give you a loaner to use while they fix the problem?

Ginny,

I never used an egg when making dough...guess it was because we were poor and eggs were scarce.  Now you've made me crave some, gonna defrost some pizza dough...yummy, hot cinnamon rolls for dinner.

That's so weird...just remembered as kids we never got eggs unless we were ill, which was almost never.  Mom made deviled eggs for holidays,  hard boiled for Easter that's all I can recall.  Funny we didn't even know we were that poor.

Busy day Ginny, glad you were able to sort it all out.  Can't believe after that you worked on your quilt.  Could you send me some of that energy?  : )

LaJuan Sukochi Lee:
Diana, it is not your FIL or MIL's decision when he will pass. It is God's decision.

I believe that as well but with DH I  saw such a peace come over him once he told me "I am ready to let go. I am  tired of fighting to hang on." But even with that it was almost a week before he passed but during those days we could see a very calm end of life process. The important thing is for the people around him assuring him that all is going to be well.

Diana, I have a little Brother 100-Stitch Computerized Sewing Machine with Alphabet Font-SQ9050 found only at Walmart - it's about $200 - I got mine on clearance for $100.00 and have done several larger quilts with it.  You can do large projects on small machines,  It is more difficult and slower with all the shifting. Here's some of the FM I did on my last quilt.
