Now you can cancel the trip to CC's to take over her little Sprout.

What!?? No way!! She still has obligations here.

Looks like everyone has been enjoying the weekend - even if it's just recovering (I hope all are well).

DH and I have been busy around the house doing fix-it chores & general maintenance.  We are real close to actually getting our basement repaired after last year's pouring rain caused back up in the basement floor drains. We are also hoping to refinance & get the interest on the mortgage down over a percentage point, so we thought the house should look its best.  We have repaired cracks, touched up trim paint, repotted indoor plants, remulched around the outside plants, washed walls and more. I got a few loads of laundry done, too, and hung some things outside to dry, including dog bedding.  Phew! So, we really labored on Labor Day & the house is better for it.

Now to enjoy a simple meal & relax a bit.

Here's hoping you've all enjoyed Labor Day weekend one way or another :-)

Karen great spooky runner, Thea, I loved your pictures.

Sam has been keeping me busy. Yesterday we went to silver dollar city.  We were wandering around checking everything out, got in a couple of lines for rides, not really paying attention, just enjoying being together.   As we were being strapped into another ride, Sam goes, which ride is this,  indidn't have a clue, the the strapping in stuff looked serious.  We couldn't even see each other and we were side by side.  Well, it seems we were on the BIG roller coaster. What a thrill that was.  I haven't been on a coaster like that, ever.   Too much  excitement for this old girl, that's for sure.  Today we were out driving, checking out the country.  It is beyond beautiful here.  Sorry, no pictures, too busy.

Homeschooling is going great. Maddie loves it

Hi Nan, welcome back!  Glad Maddie's home schooling is going well and that she has several social activities she can be a part of.

Did they remove the stone, can't remember reading anything about that.  Pray you'll be feeling better real soon.  (((((HUGS)))))

Gosh, I have gotten fairly used to not being able to eat much food at a time now because of the large mesh put in during my surgery, but what to do when I have to cough. I hold myself across my abdomen but the cough must pull on some of those screws that attach the mesh to my abdominal wall because I feel like a horse kicked me.  Darn allergies anyway.  Ginny
