There is a neat ruler and book that go with this - I did the blocks back in December and have a stack of them - they are setting there - but lost where I put my book when I moved everything - it is a really neat way to make the blocks... Yes Nana - do it!
I made a quilt using the strip tube method a while back. I liked the method but never made another. It would definitely make for some cool borders.

I think this will make wonderful table runners and Nana is right about this making a good basis for a scrappy project. Such potential.
Thanks all for another idea to add to my bucket list. This list is growing beyond what I will ever be able to accomplish in a normal lifetime. Do you think we will be sewing/quilting is heaven? Hope so. I have too many things I want to do and that is my only hope.

I was watching the video and then started thinking about so many other Missouri Star Quilt Co. videos I've seen, and then I thought about how the first thing I do on the computer each day is check out Missouri Star Quilt Co's Deal-of-the-Day, and I had to pause for a moment to consider that this is just a local quilt shop (I think), and look at how active they are on the web! Those of you who live near this shop, is visiting in person as amazing as what we see on the web?

I love the border. It took me a minute to figure it out as it look intricate but really isn't. I also like the fact you used a different border on the side. And your choice of fabrics is really wonderful. I'm doing two tube quilts right now -- one like you explain and another using strings. Same principle but much different results.
Debbie, as I said before, I found the site, love the project and now...I understand the comments about the end piece and border. Your pic showed it very well and I will use that as a reference when I make mine. Great Idea for a stash buster project.
