Does anybody know of a current or available collection that has an old world map look to it? Or just something subdued with maps etc? I made a quilt for my grandson with an Northcott panel and my 27 year old son loves it and the colors, but the panel is too childish for him.

I just bought this print in May, so it should be still available.  However, I don't have the section of the salvage with the manufacturer info.

Here is a picture:

This is a scrap that is all I have left (about fat qtr size).  It is beige with rust and blue splotches plus the map writings in black (sorry for the fold lines).  If something like this would work for you, I bought this at Fabric Depot in Portland, Oregon.  You could go to their website:  www.fabricdepot.com  If you call them, they are very nice about trying to help you find what you are looking for.  (Feel free to use this picture to show them if that will help.  You should be able to save it on your pc to forward to them.)

I got something similar at www.hancockfabrics.com

I got it in the store, but it should be available online too.

wendymarie37,

Hancocks does have a few choices. I went to see if I could find the Lewis and Clarke map fabric they had out several years ago for a BOM. They apparently don't carry that any longer. The others are pretty.

The one at Hancock has some interesting colors.  I booked marked it. Thanks for leading me that way!

I bought couple yards of this here at my preferred exclusive fabric acquisition venue, zjho-ahnn's. But I didn't do something with it yet. It's on sale. zjhale, that is.

This is fabric by Kaffe Fassett. I used it in a quilt for my sister and it's very nice. Have fun!
