Judy,

Fantastic!  So glad you entered your beautiful HP quilt to share it with others.  I'm sure it brought many ooo's and ah's from the fairgoers.

Don't know how I missed this thread -- Trying not to laugh too hard and wake everyone up  in the house .   First, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!   It is a fantastic quilt and you deserve lots of ribbons.  Second, I'm jealous.....when Marlene and I go shopping she leaves them at home!

Ok, Maggie, "them" as in.......??????? I could assume you mean the doggies......as the others aren't exactly removable. Or, are they Marlene???  ROFLOL

Congratulations Judy! I think your HP deserved Best of Show as well! Are you going to enter Harry in the State Fair? I would if it were mine, just to see what it could do.

Love your reply to the lady whose child wants one. Send her to fandom.com so she can realize exactly what you did and realize that NO AMOUNT OF MONEY would induce you to make another (unless she were offering multiple hundreds, ten or more, in which case you MIGHT be tempted)!

It's Quilting! You're supposed to be having fun!

Thanks Pat, no, Harry won't be going to the State Fair. He's had his moment in the sun and he's happy.

Congrats on the blue ribbon.  You certainly deserve it!!!!  My poor HP quilt is feeling neglected.   I hope to get back to him soon.  Again Congrats.  It is a truly wonderful creation.

Thanks folks.  Harry is now home from the fair, hanging on my living room wall, a very happy but tired fella. I love looking at him. He has one more trip to make. I was asked if I would display him in the library next March. They feature one quilt a month and because it's a bookshelf theme they thought it would be very appropriate..
