I cant wait to see yours finished.
Flowers are done, now I'm trying to figure out what looks best. I'd really appreciate input!!
1. color groups
2. Scattered colors
3. stripes

I've been admiring from afar but really have enjoyed watching this grow together. I think my personal preference is the scattered look. But you should go with the one that suits your fancy first. Which way are you leaning?
Hi Debbie! I'm on MN Deb's computer but it's really me, MN Nancy. I just found this thread and I LOVE your flowers! My preference is for either option #1 or #2. Hey, when are you going to come to a retreat with us?
Hi Debbie,
It looks great i like scattered, but i think thats because thats the type of mind set i have very scattered.
i'm in on the mind set scattered. As for the hex I still haven't braved that pattern but the progress is awesome to see.
Quilting My Rainbow
I prefer the second pic, scattered flowers. It's beautiful and if it needs a home, I have a bed it would look great on....lol Nice work and I just may start one of those soon.

I personally love the color groups, but that's just my opinion. :)
I think you should choose scattered (2) which wood look like Mother Nature had a hand in it. I also think you should choose the one you like best. How is that for an answer?
Ask yourself which one would you be happier with on down the road assuming that this quilt is for you.

Debbie, I like the scattered as well but you have to go with your gut, everyone has a different way of looking at things.

Frances, a lot of people call me scatter brain so I'm with you.
BTW did you get to see my 1/2" hexie in another thread? If not I'll post here.
How am I doing? Need to make my stitches more invisible, any tips?
Thank you Thank you Thank you everyone for your suggestions. As usual, I'm overthinking/obsessing over this. I've decided to go with scattered colors and make two lap quilts instead of one big one. That way I can keep one and give one away or sell. My right thumb and first two fingers are getting pretty thick skinned!
