Thanks so much everyone. I really appreciate the responses and I am so excited to try out some new things using some of the things I have been reading about on the site. I saw a lesson on binding techniques I would like to watch and maybe learn some ways to make my binding a little more professional looking. I just got back from China on a teaching educational tour and I brought back some silks I am looking forward to incorporating into a quilt.
thanks
Kristen

Hi Marie, thank you. I am not very good yet but see improvement on each item I do. I am still on small projects, but hope to do an actual quilt shortly.
Hi Gini, Maybe we will meet each other one day.

Welcome to the site.
Welcome Connie! I live in Winthrop...a few miles west of you. There are 3 active QCA members here in Okanagan County...Patti, Marge P and myself (sorry if I have missed anyone). This a great site to ask questions and learn more about quilting from very experienced quilters. Be sure to post pictures!!!
