I just signed up this morning. Made a quilt for my college boyfriend many years ago and thought I'd give quilting another try. Fabrics these days are just so beautiful how can anyone resist! My baby is going off to college in the fall so hopefully I will have lots of time for quilting.
Welcome slowstitches. This is a great place to make new friends, have fun, and learn about all things quilting. Lots of encouragement here.

Welcome to QCA! I joined the beginning of May and I'm enjoying it very much. I've had lots of questions answered and forming some great friendships too.

welcome. I joined yesterday. The people on here seem very friendly.
The fabrics are just gorgeous now. It is almost hard to choose which ones to get. I would love to get them all, but I don't have that much money :( . I love going and just looking.
Glad you joined.

slowstitches,
Welcome to the group! You'll love it here. Be sure to show your projects. We all love to see what everyone is doing and gather some new ideas. So you're going to have the empty nest.....just fill it with fabric, I did.
Welcome to the club Slowstitches. I too started a quilt 28 years ago and then again about a year and a half ago. I am definitely addicted this time. I look forward to seeing your quilts on the Show and Tell gallery. Again, welcome.
