Hi All,

I've been around QCA for a year or so, but never officially introduced myself, so Hey!  I'd also like to say that this is the greatest online group I have ever been a part of.

I recently moved to the Myrtle Beach, SC area and haven't really been able to connect to quilters in the area, so I thought I'd reach out on here.  All guild meetings happen during the day while I'm at work, but I'm still trying.  :)  Anyone live around here?

Welcome Beth, can't help you with finding quilting buddies in Myrtle Beach but thought I would welcome you to our site...it's great that you have reached out.  I'm sure someone on this site is from your area.

Welcome, Beth D :-)  I know we have members all over so you may just connect with someone here who lives near you.  I hope you join in on some of our "chats" and share pictures of your quilts!

Hi Beth!  Welcome to our quilting family.  Stick around here long enough and we'll get you involved in our regional retreats, and then won't those daytime guild ladies be jealous when you tell them you are going to quilt with your QCA friends in Washington, Iowa, Virginia, or Arizona!

So tell us more about yourself and the kinds of quilts you like to work on.

Welcome, Beth! Glad you decided to chat with us! I lived in Charleston,SC for 3 years when my DH was in the Navy. My son was born there. Now were in North, Florida. They do not have any nighttime Guilds close to were I live either. So glad I found QCA. How long have you been quilting? What kind of quilts do you like? Looking forward to chatting with you.           Susan

Thanks for all the warm welcomes!  Like I said before, this is a great group!!

I will be chatting more and posting pictures soon.  I've only been quilting for about 3 years, so I wouldn't say my skill level is very high, but I enjoy it so much.  I am trying to like scrap quilts - trying because I am very organized and like structure, so I'm using scrap quilts to "get over it".  lol

Thanks again to all! {{hugs}}
