Yes, its me.....believe it or not!! After some family and health issues, I'm back in the saddle so to speak. After harvest of 2011 was over decided I best get myself to the doctor before my legs wouldn't carry me anymore. All summer I thought it was my knee's (which aren't the greatest) but to my surprise I had some massive tendonitis going on in both lower legs. I don't think I've ever had pain like that, but the Dr. gave both legs a good dose of deadening and both got big syringes of some steroid and thank the Lord the pain is gone!!! I'm able to move around much better than before so that's wonderful now that there's a new grandbaby........OH!!! DAUGHTER HAD BABY #4 ON FEBRUARY 22ND!!!! Dax Ryan is grandbaby #8 for us. He was 9 lbs 3 0z. and 21 1/2 inches long. He's a strong little guy and very much loved.
After all this, Hubby's mother had her knee replaced on the 27th of Feb. so it was a couple weeks of running to the big town to the hospital. That sure poops a person out!! But during that time I took advantage of going to the quilt shop and taking some "me" time to see what was new. Decided I will start a black, white, red and grey quilt for me. Out of all I've made only one has stayed home!! Have a pattern and am ready whenever all this other running quits. Ladies, does that running ever quit????
Best go. Hubby and son will be coming in for dinner!! Hope this finds all doing well

Congrats on new granbaby! I find myself having the same problem , never no "me" time. Always doing something to take are of family . I guess we are lucky though. Without family, we wouldnt have them to give quilts to lol...
