iam new to the club, happy to be here, hope to meet some friends, been quilting for forty years and still learning something new everyday,
Nice to meet you. I am also from KY. I have been quilting for about 35 years. Such a relaxing and enjoyable time for me. I work as a full time registered nurse in a emergency room. So I am ready to relax and recharge and I do this with my quilting. Love hearing from others in my state that are quilters, it seems like sometimes quilting is a dying art and I am trying my best to pass it along. I am hoping to learn more techniques from others and just maybe I can teach a little myself. Hope to hear from you soon.

and hello to dcfrn. we have a lot of nurses and retired nurses here. i read somewhere recently, that quilting is a 13 billion dollar industry in the US, so it isn't a dying industry, maybe just not as common in your area. i lived in seattle for years and it is big business there.
Welcome to the group, Stitchingpost. Glad you joined us.
Welcome DCFRN,
We are happy to have you here, I think people like use are the ones who will keep quilting from dying! We all love to share and to lean so you are definitely in the right place!
