didash: Gina - you did a beautiful job. It certainly looks as though it qualifies for a bona fide quilt to me :) Funny thing is, I THINK I saw this fabric at a local fabric shop...when I get back home in a couple of months, I'll check and see if it is still there and let you know. Unfortunately, they do not have a website :(

You are so kind, Diane. Thank you for your compliment! And I would certainly be forever grateful if you did check and see if that shop has Starry Night fabric. If they do, maybe they'd let me make a phone order or something since they don't have a website.

okay So, I found a real simple pattern that calls for flannel. It is simple but I think it will be cute with the material I found. I have it all washed now to just get motivated. Did great on the cost of the material. JoAnn's had 60% off flannel , then another 20% off at the register. So did 8yrds for 20 bucks instead of 60

Hi Debbie-Do... fortunately your message came into my Yahoo email account, because it didn't show up on the discussion board.
I took a look at the fabric on Etsy. Unfortunately it says in smaller print towards the top that it sold on June 12, 2010. :o( Thank you so much for trying to help though! I so greatly appreciate it!

well... I'd hoped you wouldn't see my goof before I deleted it :o) When I went back to close the link to Etsy, I too saw that small print... and I was so excited for you too. Sorry to get your hopes up.

No need to apologize, Debbie-do! I just appreciate the thought!
Gina: Looking fwd to seeing some photos of it on here when you do get it finished!
So Gina - Here is my finished MQ 6 top. Got a little distracted on the weekend, making a throw sized quilt out of all the leftover fabrics from this one. I couldn't help myself. I found the fabric and had to make another quilt. Oh well, this one is done. Now I have to get it quilted. It's 102 x 85. The colors are more like the corner shot.
Mimi!
This is a fabulous quilt! I love colors and the bold borders. Your borders are perfect--they really make the quilt. I can see how you would want to make another quilt with the left over fabric.Congrats! This one is a gem! :0)

Judy & Dogs:Congrats! This one is a gem! :0)
Thanks Judy. I'm so glad that one more top is finished. I have the backing to put together and then cut the binding strips. Want to use it this spring and summer on our bed. We will see what other things get higher priority.
Thanks for always being a great cheerleader Ginny. Your encouragement means a lot to me.
Thanks Bonita. I am so jealous you are in Branson. Have so much fun you don't want to leave.
