Here is a pic of one of the projects that I am working on between steps. This is an alphabet quilt for my grandson who will be 3 on June 26. I think I will also border it with the blue that I am putting in between the squares to separate the yellow border from yellow square. Or should I switch the yellow border with the black border and not border it with the blue.
Hi Donna. Personally I think it would look great if you use the yellow and blue for the borders. I'm a big fan of primary colors for kiddos! :)
Donna: Dara, I wish I knew how to get mine as perfect as you did yours. Maybe after I have more than 1 year experience.

Thanks Mimi & Donna. They aren't perfect but, I am getting better :-) You will too Donna!

Thanks to BarbS & SheriA for the kind words.
Mary Thanks. I have fabric envy so bad every time I see yours!!! I like your baskets too. I need to do something like that to keep my projects separate and better organized :-)
Snugglebug Quilter: And what to do after the MQ? I will definately do another one! This has been a great experience. I love working on a quilt that there are so many other talented quilters working on at the same time and sharing advice. What fun!

Snugglebug, maybe you've already done this but, you may want to pop over to the Scrap Happys group. We will be starting a new project very soon. :-)
quig639: Hi Dara...............Your blocks are beautiful ! Do you square up each block as you go ? They are sooooo perfect !!!

Hi quig639 ! Thanks for the compliment. No, I only squared up a few of the ones from step 2. My piecing has really improved since I got a quarter inch foot with a guide on the side. I highly recommend them.
BarbS: Just finished Step 5......looking forward to the Grand Finale!!

oooooohhh. Very pretty Carol. You'll have a very happy quilt. Love the fabrics!
Well I finally bit the bullet so to speak. I have an accuquilt go, and I just ordered the 2 1/2 inch square die for it. It has 9 squares on the die and you can cut up to 6 layers at a time. Thats an amazing number in the 7 seconds it takes to run them through the go.
Cindi: Let's see if I can make this work. Maybe its not too much control. :D Just a little right?

Beautiful Cindi!! WTG!!!
Only about half way through Step 5, but they'll be done by tonight. I'm pretty happy with the fabric choice. I wasn't sure there for awhile. Here's a sampling of my blocks. Anxious to get this thing sewn together after Friday.
Mary789: Yeah! I finished step 4 yesterday evening! I hope I have plenty of time to work on step 5 this week, and that I can sew those together quickly.
