It isn't lack of focus. It is an overflow of creativity.

Jeanine, that is awesome!  I'm going to use that when people ask me why I'm starting something new when I have other projects that aren't done yet!  Thanks.

It helps us finish quilts!  By working on more than one quilt, we keep forward motion going.  If I hit a stump on one quilt, I've got another one I can work on while mulling over my course of action on the stalled one.  After a few minutes or hours, I've figured out my problem and am ready to get back to the stuck one.  If I only had one quilt going, when I hit that stump, that quilt would most likely wind up in the UFO/get it out of here box, never again to see the light of day in my sewing room!

Haha Judy..yes...he likes to snag a block every chance he gets and takes it to his bed to peruse. LOL

Well THAT gets your attention when you're busy!  I thought he had that "is she done sewing yet?" look!   :-)    Dogs must really puzzle about the ways we use our time!

Donna:

Wow Judy, I really love this and I think it is a quilt that this newbie quilter can make.

Glad you like the quilt.  You can certainly do it--it's just lots of blocks of Step 2 of MQ6.  I used 5.5" white squares with 2.5" corner blocks.  My quilt has 120 blocks and is 50x60".

Judy, I went to Google images and there it was!  Amazing!  You did a good job on your hunt for your "Summer Challenge" and came up with it and the history behind it.  Thank you!  Very pretty, BTW.

Finally finished Step 4.  This is an easy project but you just need some steady rain for a day or two in order to get it done.  LOL

Went back a ways to see Debi's fabric, it's awesome!  Voting for just one quilt is going to be impossible! Everyone's fabric combos are DI-NO-MITE!!!!!!!
