I am ready to go on my first MQ! I am so looking forward to this new project.
WOOHOO!! First step posted!
I can't wait to put my squares together! That's on the agenda for this evening. I know I won't get them all done tonight, but there is the weekend, right?

Ok, who saw some four patches coming? I'm all over this and ready for step three. Well maybe I should sew these together first. This should fill any extra time in my weekend.
Here we go...
I'm also on my way to the machine..... in Yuma, AZ.
I've had my machine ready for a week now. I have been giggling with anticipation since yesterday! So happy to be piecing again. Happy stitching to everyone :-)
Good moring everyone,
So I am trying to decided how to choose which materials together. Should I try to aganizing and beating it to death deciding which to use or should I just take a deep breath and pull what may out of a bucket? What is everyone else doing. So, out of my box, think my box is having a melt down haha....Tami

i dont have enough of the dark green or the dotted deep brown. Think I'm about 1/2 short on the dark green. what do you think about a muslin for the background?

Any four will do. Just don't repeat a fabric within a four-patch. Don't overthink it!
I am going to have my squares by my machine and try to sneak the sewing inbetween the quilts I need to get done on my longarm. I need to take a sit down break every couple hours so I hope to have enough time to do it all this weekend!
Happy sewing everyone! Can't wait to get started on this. I've been working on the double wedding ring quilt and I'm tired of curves! It's on the longarm now, waiting...
I am now truly motivated! Haven't cut out squares yet, but will do that as soon as I get home from work. I won't even take my dog for his walk, I'm so motivated. lol
I'm so jealous that you guys get to start! I had a shipping issue with Jelly Rolls 2 Go and I don't even have my fabric yet. It's supposed to show up on Monday, so maybe I can catch up next week. Keep your fingers crossed for me!
Thank you Sandy for step one. Last night waiting anxiously for Step One instructions I printed out the instructions for the previous Mystery Quilts that I did not do. When they were finished Step One was ready for me to print. This morning am having my cup of tea and than off I go to my sewing machine. I too was trying to decide how am I going to put squares together, and I decided that I will just pick out squares randomly and put them together in my four blocks. Happy Quilting everyone, and Mystery Quilt 6 here we all come. Have a great weekend everyone
