The above is my fabric. I have finished cutting my squares and I too am waiting for next Friday.
Betsy7037: OK, so I am trying to find "Bittersweet". I would like to shop locally. So far, no one knows what I'm talking about, so have looked at the kits...what does the border fabric look like? The kit pictured on Missouri Star quilts shows the jelly roll, what appears to be a brown/floral print and something very light...which is the border and which is the background? Thanks, Betsy

Betsy,
The very light is a solid cream color and is the back ground. The green floral print is for the border. This is a lovely fabric collection.

Very pretty fabrics Pearl. It looks like summer. Which is the way the weather felt here in SE PA.
BarbS:Here is the picture of the jellyroll I have
Beautiful fabrics, Barb S. Your jellyroll and layer cake must be sisters to mine. We don't have the same fabric but I'm interested how these springtime colored MQ's will turn out. Oh Friday can't get here soon enough. Have you decided on a background yet? A pieced border would look great.
Very pretty choice of fabrics!
How do I post a picture of my fabrics? Can someone help?
Thanks,
Helen
Betsy, take a look at the media section. Pat Badder shows the Bittersweet kit cut out out. It is absolutely beautiful!!!!!
Mimi we had rain and wind all day today. Was a boring day stuck inside. I even cleaned my silverware draw. Summer days sound wonderful.
How do I get to the media section?
Pearl:we had rain and wind all day today
Oh Pearl I have been praying for rain. This spring has been the driest ever. The dirt in my gardens are already cracked being so dry. We did get a little this morning but we need lots more. And the weatherman just said it would be near 90 tomorrow. Too hot too soon for me. I guess we are never satisfied.
I am looking forward to this mystery! I purchased the kit from Missouri Star Quilts and the Bittersweet line is gorgeous! Looking forward to the next step.

Hi Everybody! I'm coming into this with the hope that I can actually work along with you, but there's so much on my plate right now that I'm a tad concerned about it. I've done three mystery quilts with you now and really enjoy them.
Will be shopping from my stash and haven't gotten my fabrics together yet. Not sure when the first set of sewing instructions is due out. With luck I'll have things chosen and cut by then.
Love the fabric selections you've all been posting and can't wait to see how things work up as the mystery progresses.
I just made a small quilt using the Bittersweet collection, so I picked another jelly roll for this mystery. I'm going to use "California Girls" by Moda. I'll post a photo of my choice when it arrives. Any excuse to go fabric shopping!
Looking forward to this mystery even though I'm involved in two already, and a third starts in June,
