Ok. I'm ready to start my first mystery quilt.  You said scrappy and that's just what I need (yeah, I need to add another project on my to-do list).  I'm also waiting for fabric from the St. Patrick's green and white fat quarter swap to arrive.  I may use some of that.

I'm ready too....although I've got another MQ is the works already...the last for it should be coming out next week.

IMPORTANT INFO ... PLEASE READ.

It's nearly time to get started.  Just a few more hours and you will have fabric requirements and cutting instructions.

Just a few reminders for you "old" MQer's and some info for the new MQer's.

  • There is a group for MQ6 and you all need to join that group (should be opened tonight).
  • Any questions you have about the MQ instructions should be posted in the group because that is where I will look first.  There is so much chat in this forum, that it is sometimes hard to find the questions, so if you want an answer from me, please post in the group.  If you want input from everyone, feel free to post here so anybody can offer their help or opinions.
  • If you ask a question that I haven't answered or my answer didn't make sense, feel free to send me a private message via friends.  I'm here to help you have fun with this MQ.

Ok, MQer's ... start watching for those instructions!

Thanks Sandy can't wait to get started. Been working on some UFO's to get them out of the way and will have more time for mystery quilt. Welcome to all the newcomers for MQ6.

OMG things are stacking up.  I am going to do this but it will have to wait ntil after my surgery on April 6th

Hmmm.   Sandy is in Florida.   I am in Washington state.   But it will be the 30th in Florida in about 5 minutes.  Will I get to see the instructions about fabric before I go to bed?

It's 12:11 in Florida and no MQ6 group yet. I'm not going to participate in this one, but I am going to follow along and am anxious to see it.

Only 9:19 here in the Pacific NW but was hoping, since Sandy is in Florida, she would post it Florida time and it's now Friday March 30th. Not impatient are we. Poor Sandy, she puts up with so much from us. LOL.

Its 10:20 pm in AZ and although I am not participating I will be a lookee see too! I love to see the quilts you all make. They are gorgeous!

It's here!  But it is a mystery.  What in the world are we going to do with all those squares?  It doesn't say anything about value, that is light, medium, or dark.  But I know all my quilts would have been better if I had paid attention to value.  So I am going to choose a light background.  And medium/dark for all the other colors.
