rebelroz: I can't wait!! But how do I "follow"?
Hi and Welcome to the group. You can 'follow' by clicking on the link at the top right of the first posting on each page that says "Email me when someone replies". On some of the busy threads, that can put lots of messages in your inbox. You can also just check back on this thread to see what is going on since you last posted. An easy way to do that is to go to your home page and in the list of your activity find where you posted to this thread. Then click on the thread title and it will take you to the point where you posted.

rebelroz, I forgot to say that there will also be a link on your home page to Mystery Quilt 6 when it gets going. Right now the one for Mystery Quilt 5 is still there, but it will be replaced once we get going. Look for it on the left side of the page.
I want to give it a try. Your comment about it being easy enough for a beginner has me intrigued. I'm still very much a beginner. My struggle is mostly with cutting the pieces. I have a hard time understanding some of the pattern directions. But I want to try! I have TONS of leftover fabric that I can pull for something fun.
Question on the fabric, though. Does it all have to be the same fabric? Like all 100% cotton, or can I mix in flannels, etc.? I like to have different textures in my quilts.

I like mixing flannels with cotton for scrap quilts. I like the different textures, too. Quilting is very individual so try anything.
I too want to do this mystery quilt. Welcome to all the new comers. it is exciting to see so many new people join in our mystery quilts.
Sandy H.:I'm really looking forward to getting started and I think you are really going to like this pattern. It won't be long now!
Three more days?!!! I know if you're excited about this pattern, it has to be beautiful. Can't wait.
