I am going to challenge myself to use mostly fabric from my stash.  It is my New Years resolution and I have made it all the way through March so far.  Maybe by the end of the year I'll be able to start collecting again!  Can't wait until the directions for the BOM are posted.

I have really enjoyed the mystery quilts.  I didn't do the last one or two.  But I think I will do this one and use fabric from my stash.  Plan to make it scrappy.  I will have a little more time now.  I will have to continue to work on my UFOs.  Maybe I should challenge myself to completing two UFOs per new project started.  That way I will finish them faster than I make them.

To those of you who haven't done UFOs before, the ones on this site are great.  They are the only ones I have done, but they have been a totally fun way to get to know each other better and to learn some new skills.  Even when I don't participate, checking in to see what everyone is doing is great fun.  Same pattern but such variety.  Well a few like to tinker with the pattern too, but we like seeing those alterations as well.

I am so glad to hear it will be scrappy. I am thinking about making this one for my youngest son. I learned a lot with MQ5 and can not wait for this one. It is great fun seeing what fabrics everyone uses and the varied outcomes.
