It's almost time to start our sixth Mystery Quilt. This pattern is provided by our QCA sponsors Missouri Star Quilts and it is fantastic. And guess what ... it's another scrappy! You can clean out your stash or, even better, you can purchase a kit from Missouri Star Quilts. (More about that later.) They sent me the most beautiful fabrics!
I'm running a little behind this year (too many projects with a deadline and not enough time) so I will not be posting fabric requirements until March 30th. You will then have 2-3 weeks to gather your fabrics before the first step is posted, which will be followed by a new step every Friday for 6 weeks. At the end of the 6 weeks you will have a beautiful new quilt top.
This is a very simple pattern that is easy enough for even the newest quilters but will finish into a quilt that everyone will love.
You do not have to sign up anywhere or pay anything to join in the fun. The steps will be posted in the MQ 6 Workshop and we will set up a new group for questions. Any general chat about the project can be posted here so everyone can keep up with our progress.
So, start thinking about your fabrics, get those other projects finished up, and let's get ready to make a beautiful quilt.

Hey, Virginia Beach clan, it sounds like we can be shopping for MQ fabric while we're on retreat!

ROFLOL, no it does not mean that at all. If we took a poll I bet there are more MQ UFOs than not. I personally have two.
