That's weird... I just looked it up on Google and Wiki says this: 832: Houston area, overlays with 281 and 713 SO at least it's in your neighborhood, sorta? Can people make calls from computers now? sheesh, I'm falling way behind with technology!

Maybe that is what it looks like if someone calls you from Skype (the computer based communication system where you can also speak to someone from your computer). Maybe? Most lap tops have it.
Hehe. I finally told my DH about this contest, so if they call, he won't hang up on them thinking it is a solicitor. Hey, they have our e-mails too. They can notify that way as well. Eeeeks. I better go check. I usually ignore those quilting/fabric messages until I have time to check they out.

You know you could sign up for the contest on Facebook, too. I thought it was just for our group but it was for all. They made it LOOK like it was just for our group.
I think the main purpose of the contest was to get as many people as possible on their mailing and e-mail list. That's why it ran for weeks, in several locations.
