These blocks are all beautiful. You go girl.

Gini, you must have very agile fingers to do such tiny work. Really cute blocks.
Jacy, love the B&W fabric. I never see sales like that. It will be interesting to see what will be coming together with your blocks.
Gini, did you stitch those by machine or by hand?? I'm sorry if you've already answered that question... I obviously missed it. If I live to retirement, miniatures are on my todo list! Yours are wonderful.

debbie, both of my good machines are off to the dr for their check ups, so i broke out my little featherweight, and she's sewing up a storm. i forgot how much i like to play with her, i'll have to get her out of the box more often.
jacy great fabric picks

Jacy:Did I mention it's going SLOW.........paper piecing, hand sewing, lots of colors, lots of scraps.
Jacy, love all your projects, slow and easy will get it done so don't fret. Your fabric purchase is gorgeous! You'll figure out what to do with it before long.

I love sewing with my featherweight. She sews like a dream.
gini: MNnancy:What inspired you to move into minatures? i periodically have a brain f*rt and try out miniatures. here you go jacy. they're looking pretty cute. i had a interruption by some swimmers, i hope to get a lot more done tonight. they're going together pretty quickly. the bad thing about miniatures, you don't use up much stash.

How do you get your machine to accept those little pieces. Mine would just chew them up and spit them out thinking I had lost my mind. It's so use to sewing queen and king quilts it wouldn't know what to do with those little pieces. I'll find a good doctor for you and send him your way. LOL
What a great job you are doing!! How long will it take you to finish the project? Whew, I'm dizzy just thinking about it.
I was going to ask, is that foundation or paper piecing or ???

I wish I could of been in on that sale. I just purchased 40 yards of black and white fabrics but I'm really liking yours. Great purchase! Is a black and white quilt what you have in mind? Just wondering as I'm still looking for a pattern. I'm putting embroidery designs in mine, which are done, but I just don't have that pattern yet.
I am going to do the quilting on another baby quilt today...got it loaded and everything ready to go except my enthusiasm...I'm so tired today.
There is so much smoke in the air today because of all of the Northern California wildfires...you would think that it was our area burning.
Oh Jacy - I would have scooped up those black and whites quickly - I am hoping later today to go in my sewing room and find some black and white fabric to use as the backing for Rainbow - hoping to get the last border on today and do the final pressing - get it sandwiched and start quilting it...
I worked on Snowmen A-Z yesterday and got the N & O blocks done - am on to P and it is almost done - one last color to accent the letters - am doing them in medium blues with red... have the red to do - it is the last thing I do on each block - the next block Q is snowmen with Quilts wrapped around them - the block on the quilts looks like the Ohio Star - hope to get it done today - I am moving right along - the hands are aching but too bad I tell them - get over it...lol
I am so wanting to get to Sew Spooky - lol - I am sticking to my guns though and going to finish up the Rainbow and when done Quilting it I will quilt the blue and yellow quilt I got at F&P last year - it has been waiting that long to be done - then I can start SS... I will continue to do the hand embroidery on Snowmen A-Z -
Got my quilting orders...teehee...
I have to make 12 house blocks for my Walnut Retreat block exchange and 12 Snowmen blocks for the swap I just signed up for that I am excited about...whoo hooo!!!
Soon I will be moving today!
Thea, what is a rainbow quilt??? Sounds like something I might be interested in.
