A couple of weeks ago, I posted my 11 year old daughter's Juliet bag.
I finally got around to finishing mine. Woohoo! Took about 6 hours from cutting the fabric to the final seam. Did it all today. So easy and fun!

Love the bag with the pink accent. All in one day, I'm impressed.
Absolutely it counts! If it doesn't, then I never do anything LOL. Would love to see the angel quilt. Just sounds nice and then we can really see your transformation in quilting. I know what you mean by all the UFO's. I have several and even more in my mind. Whew, I pray the good Lord allows me to live long enough to get them finished. :-)
I laughed out loud. Kids can be so bad and so cute at the same time. I know youhad to laugh but couldn't let him see you. Need to write that one down for the future. Love it.
he had me in stitches, and i couldn't hold it in. that earned me another glare. the bad news was telling sam i had been voted off the island and he had to find a new love.
i'll post the angel quilt when the quilting is done
Gini, kids say the funniest things and it's so hard not to laugh. My four year old DGD's newest word of the month is stupid. Every thing and everybody is stupid. We tell her it's very rude to call anyone stupid so the other day she started to call me stu...I gave her the Grandma look... and just like that she changed it to stupendous. I didn't know she even knew the word. We all got a laugh out of that save.
I want to know one thing...when you have to leave the island, do you have to leave you stash for Sam's new love?
Love your new bag! Great fabric choices. Looks like you did a terrific job on it!
Rachel, great bag
Oh My, seems the heat has many of you a bit loopy today! I've been giggling like a 5 yr old reading all of these posts! Max & Gini - you're sooooo bad - I love it!
Well, I have to agree that thinking about a quilt is certainly a valid day of quilting. I think that's why I'm so exhausted every evening! It sure can't be my job!
Here's some of what I've been doing today. DH had to work (no coming home sick! It's not allowed!).
