Gini

It sounds like you have a busy few days ahead.  Have fun at class.

gini:

I spent the day in class ,earning a nifty technique for making 9patches.  Then at guild this evening the instructor did a trunk show that was great.  Tomorrow ip'm at school all day,   We're leaving for the airport Thursday night and spending the night in Spokane so I don't have to get up at 0'dark thirty.   Somehow I need to fit In my packing.

Well, Gini - I'd tell you to say "Hi!" to my brother & his family but you probably won't have time. Darn. So, instead, I'll tell you to have a Fab-sew-licious time!

Bonita:

This was made from a turnover I got from Missouri Star Quilt Co. I saw one of Jenny's vidios and fell in love with it.

Sorry about the hanger showing, but my wall is to narrow for the full quilt to fit.

Bonita, it's adorable and I'm sure it's one turnover that won't have you unbuttoning your pants! LOL - Is it paper-pieced?

Thanks MNnancy, no I didn't learn how to swim but used a "noodle" and was in the deep end pretending to be a big girl.  Wondered if anyone would remember the Weeble song.

WOW! everyone has been doing such great work.  Have not been online in awhile as I had three projects to finish before surgery.  Recovering much faster than I thought and ready to get sewing again

Marie - would that be the Weebles Wobble but they don't fall down one?? Nope. Don't remember it!

No quilt but I just got back from Jasper ( you know, the tourist town that everyone travels for days to get to and its just down the road from my house)  where I was forced to spend time with my sister and her friend, check into a lovely just renovated hotel and enjoy the hot tub with drinks and girl talk, dine on girl food (aka not beef and not bleeding) with a truely wonderful wine.  I am exhausted.  My DH asked if I was done galivanting and I'm not even miffed.  To relaxed to be miffed.  Besides, I have a quilt retreat this weekend that he has apparently forgotten about.

I have been cutting out wildflower blocks and pieces all morning.  I think I am starting to go cross-eyed....LOL>   Wanted to get some ready to take to VB.   Still have to clean the kitchen but I keep putting that off....hate doing chores.

Just returned from a trip to the Quilt Museum in Paducah, KY. What an experience. Some of the most beautiful quilts I have ever seen. We stayed in a condo overlooking the river and the museum. Anyone who loves quilting and travel should go and see this museum. Fabulous!!!
