Wendy,

Thank you!  I'll have to try the One Seam Flying Geese soon. I love the way they look.

gini:

wendy, i know it's late, but your pinwheels look a bit  like chubby dancing girls without heads.

Now Gini - I must say that you have a very "unique' imagination there.  :o)

Okay, it's been a really hectic weekend for me but, I did get something done...finally!

This is block #5 of the Applique I'm doing with a group from the LQS. It's called Hearts & Petals. It's really not as out-of-round as it looks - my fabric is a little rumpled because I had just gotten finished picking all of the stabilizer off the back (Yes, that's my story & I'm stickin' to it!) {{{ Kathy - in case you're wondering, Block # 6 is on page 15 and is called "Basket of Flowers".}}}

Tomorrow night begins my Stack & Whack class. We'll just be cutting in this class. Sewing starts next week.

Wendy - I've been trying to watch the video link you posted on the geese and am obviously having "operator error" or computer issues as it's not letting me look at it and this is from my own computer!! None of that blocking stuff they do at work. Darn.

Thanks, Deb! I haven't the foggiest idea what I'm going to do with these blocks but, it's been fun. Now onto my 2nd applique project...Wildflowers! OMG, this is going to be a challenge but, nothing ventured, nothing gained.  I've always liked diving into the deep end - LOL!

Interesting flying geese technique, Wendy.  It does appear to waste a bit more fabric, though.  But wow, quick!
