MNnancy: Should we be copying the patterns onto freezer paper or anything?
Should we be copying the patterns onto freezer paper or anything?
yes, we can do it at retreat. if you would bring some freezer paper, i'll show you how to make templates out of it., maybe i can just bring them already made. have you made templates out of freezer paper before? i had sam get me two more rolls. i've gone through two of them in five years. freezer paper is a staple in my studio. i brought the patterns home tonight to look them over and see what order to make them. there are a few that are pretty simple.

MaxNTopeka:Kris--I would be proud and honored to adopt you! When can I move in?
Hold the phone...when you adopt someone they move in with you and you buy and or make them presents (and feed them too). LOL
Love the lap quilt.
Kris,
I thought adopted daughters were supposed to move their mothers in with them to take care of them in the golden years...push us around in our wheelchairs...cook for us... and pamper us. <sigh!> Oh, well...I'll still be proud to adopt you.
Max

gini:It took me so long to get caught up, I almost forgot to tell you what I've been up to, drumm roll puh lees. I cleaned my studio, it doesn't look like my spot any more, sigh.
Wow Gini. Congratulations on all the "new" stuff you found in your studio. I've been trying to clean as I go but it's really hard. My hat's off to you.

LOL Max,
I think I'd be rolling right next to you. I'm not in the best physical shape.
Yes I have another honorary mother. Woo hoo.
Rachel
Your bunnies are so precious, Love the quilt.
Hi all! I gotta say, you guys are all soooo good! I don't know if my quilt will turn out as good as yours have, but I am proud to announce that I did get started today on my project. Woo-hoo! Now I feel like I'm officially a "quilter"! Thanks for all the encouragement and kind words, it really helped! Still can't get the picture uploaded, but I'll figure it out eventually. Barbara, I do have some questions about the instructions on my pattern. Don't have to deal with it yet, but it'll cause a problem later. It's basically the way the author described the measurements that has me confused. I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. By the way, what does 'frogging' mean?
Thanx again everyone!
