Wow, Go to work and come home to a private quilt show to remove the clutter of the day.
You ladies are out doing yourself with your quilts.
Gini I love your appliques. Congratulations on all your found treasures.
Max and Judy T beautiful colors.
Nana I could look at your garden forever, it has all of my favorites.
Welcome Chicagosinger! You have found an amazing group of women who know how to have a good time.
Kris:Yay Mimi.
Thanks so much Kris!
Nana:You can do it all with HSTs.
Thanks for the tip Nana. I already had all the pieces cut when I put this UFO away ??? years ago. Thought I should use up the fabric. I'll keep the HST's in mind for next time. Although I like the long block in the flying geese because it matches the Puss in the Corner blocks. Thanks again.
Barbara:they drive me crazy
They drive me crazy too Barbara. Thanks for your comment. Helps me keep going.

gini: I may have to toss around a bit of fabric to get rid of the neatnik jitters.
If you've got that much energy, you can always come and straighten up my sewing room if you want. LOL I pay in fabric.
In the beautiful Pacific Northwest!
gini:She recommends 1/2 yd medium green to use throughout the quilt. I do this too, it adds a common color and helps tie the blocks together.
Oh, I missed that. That sounds like a good idea.
Should we be copying the patterns onto freezer paper or anything?
On the banks of the Mississippi River in north central Minnesota (Brainerd lakes area)
gini:Everything is so doggone, NEAT, Not used to that.
Good luck finding the things you need. Neat doesn't work for me. LOL
Done with the rabbit quilt! To fill y'all in, my neighbor came over a couple of weeks ago with some rabbit pictures she'd printed onto printable fabric and a YARD of fabric she'd bought from JoAnn's and said, "Can you make this into a quilt?"
Each day she'd come over and ask what to do next and I'd tell her. I helped with the binding. I think we did a pretty good job!
I did the applique on the rabbits (and 'made up'/freestyled the carrots! LOL!)
It's going to be the First Prize at her 4H Rabbit Show this weekend. I hope they like it!
