Barbara, have you heard from Thea lately?   Seems like its been over a week since she posted and that she was not feeling well then.

However, I did manage to squeeze in some VA Beach block time in!  I know, quit laughing I am getting them done. 13 have been done, they just need to be squared off and signed. I get the award for the slowest quilter on this earth.
Sorry - you can't have that title as I am slower with my blocks than you.  I only have one that is complete.  All of the rest are in pieces.  BUT at least I have them started.  :o)  I still have two months to finish them.

Nana - I really like that table runner.  I think I may have to bribe Gini or Marlene into stealing it for me and bringing it with them to VA Beach.

I finished Dresden Hearts today.  This was my first attempt at hand quilting.  Really enjoyed it .  I got Sylvia's Bridal Sampler sandwiched today and plan on hand quilting it as well.

And a close up of some of the quilting.

I used Quilter's Dream Green in this quilt.  It is 100% recycled plastic bottles.  It feels like fleece, didn't seem to shrink, and needles like butter.  Very pleased with the product.

Kris:
I haven't decided on a block to make yet and you're almost done. So who's the slow one?
OK Kris - I give up my title to you.  :o)  I figured that you would have whipped out 20 gorgeous blocks in no time.

No I haven't quilted yet today, but I did go fabric shopping and I think that counts.  I'm going to start working on a quilt just as soon as I get through all of these posts.

Thank you Barbara.   I hope her health continues to improve and that the issue resolves itself well.

How are you doing?   Bronchitis is a nasty thing to get through.  Here's hoping you'll be out running around soon!

Nana I love the Dresden hearts pattern where did you get it? You did a very nice job hand quilting. I want to start a Sylvias Bridal sampler but not sure if I want to hand peice or machine.

I hand quilted my broken star quilt while my son was in afghanastan it turned out nice and took my mind off of worring.
