still have April, May & June to do.  I had never completed anything applique before, but this was surprisingly easy.

Very nice blocks Greg!  You did a beautiful job...

Your background fabric looks a lot like mine.

Very pretty blocks Greg.I like the colors you used.  I'm having trouble getting the video to load. I was able to print the info but can't watch.

Thanks Patricia,

After working through six months, I wish I had chosen white for the background.  The red print is presenting some problems.  I've made some changes to the Dresden block.  Oh, well, I'm enjoying all the different blocks, but my final quilt may be awful to look at.

I picked up the Dresden template tool at Joann's today with my 40% discount. It works really slick. I'm already nearly done with the modern Dresden block. I'm taking a break from quilting Harry Potter (which I'm having trouble getting through) to work on something fun.

Annie... I accidenty cut a few of my blades from the wrong end of the template. Could you have done that? It would have made your plate bigger.

Deb

Annie:

Debbie, Mine was so out of whack that I couldn't use the 4" circle to cover up the inner circle.

I still can't figure out what I did wrong???

Yes. I accidently turned the template the wrong way so my blades were wider but shorter. Did you make your own template from the pattern or use a plastic one? I used a store bought plastic template.

Oh Judy, I really like your July blocks - especially the modern wheel.  Your fan fabric really adds a punch to it.

Mine are going to be real boring this month...LOL.
