Is that the same fabric that's in Debbie's block only red?

Patricia Faye:
They weren't  difficult blocks & now I've added a new technique to my sewing tool box!

Patricia,

your blocks are awesome as well. Love the fabric choices here as well.

Patricia Faye:
was able to download the instructions yesterday evening, but was unable to view the video until this morning.  I also had problems with it starting & stopping but I was able to follow it.

Patricia. I got an email from Craftsy. I'd asked them about the problem I was having with the video freezing up even though I have really fast internet connection. They suggested using Google Chrome for my browser. I tried it and it seems to work much better. I'm still going to use IE, but now I also have Chrome for those websites that may need a faster browser.

Judy, thanks for the info but  I have a Mac Pro & use Safari.  I watched the video a little while ago & everything was fine, so I think it was Craftsy.

Marie, I think it is.  I cut it with the red lines going up & down & I think hers were horizontal. Since I bought the fabric they offered on Craftsy, most of the time I try & use the same fabric that Amy is using.  At times it is difficult to figure out which fabric it is though.

Has anyone had any problems with the second pattern???  My first Dresden block came out perfectly but then the second one came out very wavy???

Thanks so much Bonita. :)

Annie yes...On the modern Dresden block I had to starch and hot hot hot iron flat. Think its because of the bulk of it sewn against the background.

Annie:

Oh my, July's BOM is already out and I haven't even started June's

Same here.   i has several days last week where I didn't feel good enough to sew.  Now we're having such a heat wave that I have to make a choice - air conditioning or sewing in my studio (I can't do both at the same time or the fuses blow.)  Air conditioning will win out every time, when the heat is this bad.  I have to protect my investment in my sewing machine and computer.

Oh well, at least it's cool enough in here to get my blocks cut and ready to sew.

Debbie, Mine was so out of whack that I couldn't use the 4" circle to cover up the inner circle.

I still can't figure out what I did wrong???
