I still need to do my April blocks for Craftsy and cut my bazillion squares for MQ6 but at least I completed my first Wildflower appliqué block!
I'm going to have to put the Craftsy BOM on hold--too much going on. But I am continuing with the HST BOM that In Color Order is doing-April block to be posted tonight.
Pat--"Keep Calm and Carry On"
I've been "lurking" on this thread for some time. I signed up on Craftsy & have been watching the lessons & viewing all the wonderful blocks here but I have so many other in-process projects that I have yet to start the Craftsy blocks. I think I picked out fabric from my stash 3 times but could never find a background fabric I liked. I'm trying very hard to not buy more fabric right now. So, I think I'll cheer you all on & try to complete some of my projects for now. Thanks for all the eye candy :-)

I've been so busy this month between doctor appointments, round robin, secret sister projects, another BOM, Indy being sick and making his quilt before it became a UFO, that I never thought I'd get to the Craftsy BOM let along get it done!!!! But I did it....Halleleujah!!! Indy laid in my chair in the sewing room to cheer me on. He also tried eating the spool of thread I was using on this BOM. Eating things he shouldn't is what got him sick in the first place! Anyway, here are my blocks.....
Here's Indy cheering me on...Go Mom...Go Mom
Nice work Linda.
Linda,
I like it and love your cute pooch
Linda, your blocks are great and the furbaby is adorable. I hope he feels better.

Hi Goldenthread,
Both are great classes! I'm so glad you decided to jump in. Be sure to post your work :)
Great job Linda and what a great furbaby for a helper. You're far ahead of me. I've been thinking and thinking but still can't come up with any ideas for my April BOM from Craftsy. Maybe when I've finished some other projects my ideas will flow better. Anyway wonderful blocks. I like the diagonal line on the second one.
Great looking blocks Linda. I like the second one. I got mine done today and will get a picture soon.
Jacy,
Love you blocks. Very pretty.

My daughter is doing this BOM, too. She was saying she doesn't have much stash so is just using what she has (which isn't much.) She lives 3 hours from me and usually does her projects from my stash. I went on Connecting Threads yesterday and ordered her $50 of a variety of their sale fabrics ($2.48 /yd) in lots of brights and a few pastels. A yard or 1 1/2 yards of each and sent them to her house. That will be a surprise for her and she will have her own fabric stash...or at least a start.
Jeanine,
You get the "Good Mama" award today! She will be thrilled.
Do you need my address, Mom?

You are a great mom, Jeanine!!!! It's a wonderful way to start a stash. Your daughter will love you forever and ever. It's also the way I made much of my Uncle Skip's plaid quilt, and I bought more for a plaid quilt for me.
