Claudette, I've been to Chaska - to the MN Landscape Arboretum. Love that place!
On the banks of the Mississippi River in north central Minnesota (Brainerd lakes area)
Here are all of my blocks so far.
Annie, your blocks look wonderful

Thanks,
I feel sorry for my plain "Wonky Pound Sign"
Very pretty scrapy blocks, and nothing plain with your pound, blue and white are always good together.
Annie: Here are all of my blocks so far.
Annie, they look great!
Love your colors, Annie! This is going to be awesome!
Wow, Annie, your new blocks really illustrate how much scrappier this quilt is getting. It's getting kind of hard to feel any sense of control of our color schemes. I'm going to have to really think about which fabrics I'll pull into this month's blocks.
Your black and red fabrics (with the white background) are becoming a really nice common fabric through your blocks. I'm also really loving those alternating stripes in your chevron. Maybe I'll redo mine.... Can't imagine what we're going to end up with once we've got 20 blocks done. This sure feels like a mystery quilt to me!
Nancy,
I was thinking about redoing my wonky pound sign and use fabric that will create more contract than my green one. Also I was thinking of making the color pieces wider.....
Annie,
your blocks look great. They really work well together.
Thanks Kris
Annie, you blocks are beautiful...are you doing a different color scheme for each month? Thought it kinda looked like that & I like it, very interesting. I especially like your March blocks...the colors in those blocks are fabulous!
Claudette, my grand-daughter came up today & she loves to look at my quilt magazines...when she leaves, I have them EVERYWHERE!!! Anyway, I was looking at the blocks here & she picked your blocks above that she liked best & especially the one on the left! I said, "Alexa, which one do you like best?" She replied that she liked & wanted them both but mostly this one is prettiest for me! (she pointed to the one on the left)
Donna, Love your blocks & the bright colors!
Max I love your color scheme! I actually wish I would have thought of blacks, grays & whites. They just seem to slow together.
