Sooooo.... who is going to be the first to post March blocks???
Oooh, Nancy, is that a Challenge?? I'm afraid it won't be me. I'm off to bed in a couple hours, then work tomorrow. Friday I'm all day at Sew Expo. I also want to get started on Harry Potter. So much to sew, so few hours.
In the beautiful Pacific Northwest!
I like your blocks Jacy. Very pretty colors.
Nancy, did you just step forward? Will check back here tomorrow to see them. LOL
No, Judy and Bonita, it won't be me. Remember that I'm the s-l-o-w-e-s-t quilter in QCA.

Nancy, not me either. I want to go slow this month on the BOM. March took too long to get here.
Jacy, love your colors
Jacy, I really like your blocks

It wont be me I have to work :(
Go to Craftsy.com they have some interesting classes in all aspects of quilting
I didn't get to the spiderweb block yet... I did my string block twice. In the left pic I feel it looks a bit like my crayon box threw up. I feel I still kept the spirit of the assignment in the right block without going overboard. The right one will definitely go better with the blocks I already have done.
I'm home sick today so I've been working on these off and on between resting (I really can only stay in bed for so long!) Getting wiped out again so might not get to the second block today - will have to see.
Claudette,
I love them both, but I too am a little bit more partial to the one on the right. I have trouble just being absolutely random. There needs to be some rhyme or reason even if I'm the only one who can see it. Beautiful job!
Feel better soon! Quilting is good medicine, but sometimes rest works better.

I think the left block might have been better had I used a solid for the background block rather than the stripe... but I really wanted to work that striped fabric in as I used it on my first two blocks. I'm not sure how many opportunities I'll have to work that fabric in, and I don't want to only have it in two blocks.
Thank you for your compliments, Max! I agree that quilting is good medicine, but I probaby should get some rest too.
Claudette
Great job on both blocks. WTG. Hope you feel better soon.
