Kathie Kline:
I hope to get my blocks finished tomorrow for a picture, but Kathy, believe me when I say that your orange/green/brown fabric would go perfectly with my color scheme. Do you have any of it left? :-) I love your chevron block!

JAP:Here's my February Blocks. I may redo the Balkan Puzzle Block
JAP - Love your Christmas blocks - If I thought I wouldnt' get half way done and then not finish them, I might make a Christmas set. Nice job.

Kris:I like your blocks Marge P. Very nice.
Thanks, Kris. So far I have had fun making them - hope they don't end up another UFO!

Bonita:Margre P, very pretty I like your blues.
Bonita - thanks! Blue is definitely my favorite color so I know I will enjoy making these blocks.
Sorry MNnancy. It was just a fat quarter that I had bought somewhere in my travels. Only have a few 2 1/2 inch square pieces left. Really did like the fabric though. Can't wait to see the pictue of your block.
Thanks a bunch Marge P. Liked that fabric also but it is all gone now.
Nice looking blocks JAP. Are you going to use the red fabric in all of the blocks?
Thank you Patti
Thanks. I'm not sure about all the colors, but it will be a wild scrappy quilt.
Thanks. Yes, the red fabric fabric is the background fabric. It has small white snowmen with black hats.
Thanks Marge.
JAP,
It's going to make a beautiful Christmas Quilt.
Yea, I'm caught up! Here are my Jan/Feb blocks. I'm working with 4 base colors and hope to use different fabrics pulled from my stash on every block with the exception of the background fabric.
I see I have one seam to rematch on the chevron to get a smoother line. I like the traditional line-drawn HSTs on the chevron over the faster method used on the Balkan puzzle block. That one turned out nice in appearance, but when I trimmed it to 12.5 inches, my points moved right out to the edge and so will get lost when the blocks are sewn together.
Beautiful fabrics Nancy. Love the colors.
In the beautiful Pacific Northwest!
Pretty blocks Nancy, you put them together fast. I like the orange fabric.
