Welcome, Ben - I have a step-son and two grandson's that would love that quilt. Great job.
Here's my two sets of the blocks. Started with one color group, then decided I might have been better off using a light somewhere. Enough diversion. It's back to the UFOs.
Patti: Enough diversion.
Beautiful blocks in both colorways. I know how you feel. I've been UFOing for the entire week after work of course. LOL
Patti-love both sets!!! Wish I had the eye for picking colors/fabrics!
The colors of the bottom blocks did not come out well. The dark is actually a very pretty deep blue with pinkish purple leaves.
Wow, Patti Two sets!!! I love both color ways, but especially am drawn to your blue and white. greatjob.
I really like both colorways. The one is so bright and cheerful. Reminds me of spring. The second is calming and tranquil. These are both going to be beautiful quilts.
I got my background fabric in the mail yesterday so I am able to work on this now. We were supposed to be in KC today but the "blizzard" got us. It's a nice day to just settle in and sew.
Patti - I like the "reversed" look of the darker background. It gives a whole different perspective to the blocks.
Patti, like all your blocks
Jeanine, love your blocks. But hate that snow lol
I like both sets of your blocks. Makes me think winter and spring. Sure you don't want to make fall and summer?
