Greg, welcome and I love all your blocks.
Claudette, i love your bold color choices! The stripe is extremely effective and opens the door wide open for your future color choices! Can't wait to see your whole quilt. Judy from Maine
Here is the chevron block that wasn't photographed yet when I posted the others.
Greg, I agree with Nana, the green showing up in small quantities in other blocks will make the eye travel and you will be pleased in the end, I think. Judy in Maine
Claudette: I really liked the combination. I think this quilt will be totally wild and fun. I suffer from depression so I wanted to make a throw so I could wrap myself in happy colors.
Claudette, you are one wild daring gal! I love that your quilt is going to be so colorful and fun! I haven't started mine yet, so you've given me some ideas!

Judy, pretty blocks and I see future pretty ones coming up.
Judy:This is my first block of the month quilt, my first blogging, and my first class with Craftsy. I just retired from 35 years in teaching and am very excited about being able to quilt and participate in things that I didn't have time for before.
WELCOME, Judy! I'm in my 9th month of retirement after 34 years of teaching, and it is SO MUCH FUN having time to do things that I just couldn't seem to get into while I was working. Trouble is, I've joined so many different groups around town that are keeping me really busy, and I haven't even started this BOM yet, but I will tackle it the minute I get home from my upcoming road trip.
Judy, your chevron is very pretty. Love the pop of blue.
Judy:It is actually an interactive color wheel. http://colorschemedesigner.com
Judy, cool color tool. I see it is intended for web designers, but I think it is genius to use it for fabric selection. I'll have to see if I can access this page on my new smart phone for use in the quilt shops. Thanks!
Vivian : Had a fabulous time once I figured out how to block the wind noise on the beach. My boobs are fried ( the tops anyway, not the entire) I ga ined weight ( won't tell how much) we are going again in March/April probably to Florida. Can't wait.
Vivian, I think DH thought we would be traveling as much in retirement as you do, but then when he had to repeatedly undergo the knife for melanoma, it curbed his enthusiasm for going to sunny locales. I would love to bake on the beach, but since I typically burn instead of tan, I probably should avoid the sun, too.
Glad you had fun! You're coming to VB, aren't you? Will you drive straight up from your Florida trip?
Judy, thank you so much for the heads up on the error in the directions. I had cut everything out and Thank God, I read here before starting to sew.
Judy, great blocks, welcome to the group

Hi Greg, all your blocks look wonderful. and welcome to QCA
I ordered my background fabric and have a collection of 25 FQ I got probably a year ago at a LQS sale. I also have some other fabric that will go with them, too, so I think that is what I will use. I hope to catch up before March's blocks come out.
Hi Judy and Greg - You both make beautiful blocks.
I am using fabrics from my stash too but I always have the problem that my favorite fabrics I don't want to use because I'll no longer have them.
