I love Pineapples and finally found a pineapple wallhanging that I had to have. Finished it last night and wanted to share.

Your wallhanging is so pretty. I too love pineapples after visiting Colonial Williamsburg ( Va) and finding out that the were a symbol of welcome and hospitality in colonial times.
I've never been to WIlliamsburg but I"d probably love it! I love the "village" houses, colonials, victorian etc....
I'm so happy that I jus managed to get the Village Spice Jar set and canister set from Lenox that originally came out in 1989. I've been wanting them all these years but was too 'frugal" to buy them. I love Ebay and the fact that I got great deals on them! : )
a lovely welcome to be sure - happy stitching
Peg - that is very gorgeous - Are you hanging it in an entry way - so nice... I love looking at pineapples but they don't like me - lol - we do get them and put them on ham at Easter... just wouldn't be a ham without the pineapple .
Thank you so so much for sharing it is absolutely gorgeous!
Great pineapple wall hanging, Peg!

Great job Peg. Love your pineapple.
Very pretty Peg, great job.
Peg, this is very nice. I'm looking at the lettering, which I really like - is it done in fabric pen, embroidery, applique or was it a panel with preprinted letters? Whatever it is, it works so well :-)
very lovely wall hanging....it will certainly make guests feel welcome
Peg, very nice job on your wall hanging. It looks great with your color on your front door too. Thanks for sharing.
