Oh Karla, don't cha just hate it when you do something like that, I've tried very hared to keep , my giftees stuff all together,so far I've been lucky ,, last night my son saw the sweets , and said it was a good thing I had kept then hidden ..So don't feel so bad ,your giftee will just get two packages LOL Babara
EAT!! SLEEP !! QUILT!!
I was able to catch the mail carrier and get it back so all is not lost. I just had to reopen the package and stuff it just a little fuller and now I'll run to the post office and mail it before I pick up the grandsons from the bus. I did have everything together except for the small items I picked up yesterday, which were still in their bag on the kitchen table.
It was just one of my senior moments!
Karla ,SO gald you were able to catch the postman . ,I'd never be that lucky.barbara
Well, since I'm a retired postal employee (wasn't a carrier, though) I do know how to find them.
Karla, yeah that would be a big help LOL Barbara
Well heck I asked if we could send early and I was told no. and shoot now my giftee is wondering what the heck happened. I am going to mail it today for the 5 PM pickup. It has been sitting looking at me for over two weeks. Drats
LOVE Ya'll

Karla - I forgot to put a note in mine. So I sent a card separately. Now watch - the card will probably get there before the package and the giftee will be scratching their head wondering what is going on.

Marge and Karla, it sure seems like you two are making a lot of work out of this. Ha, ha!
Barbara may call me over anxious, but it sure is nice to be able to sit back now and relax and listen to all the scramblings of the others.

Marge, just have to share this. Sunday I ordered the Angry Birds cake toppers from Amazon. Mind you, I live about 25 miles from their largest facility. No record until today and this is what it said:
11/29 8:48 a.m. Shipment left Seller Facility - Phoenix
11/29 1:39 P.M. Fedex Smartpost Arrival Scan - Phoenix
11/30 7:08 a.m. Fedex Smartpost In transit to pickup location - Phoenix
11/30 7:08 a.m. Department Scan - Phoenix
11/30 10:12 a.m. Arival Scan - Phoenix
Huh? Is this package on a conveyor belt somewhere going round and round? Delivery is 3 - 5 business days (so latest its supposed to be delivered is Friday). Keep your fingers crossed for me - the big birthday party is saturday and an angry birds cake just won't be the same without angry birds.

What a picture! I think Santa's elves might be behind this.
Marge (AKA Dimples):I forgot to put a note in mine.
Marge, I forgot too! Now, I know it is too late to try to catch the package again. When am I going to get organized? Oh well....the only hint as to who it is from will be the return address on the package. Oh well!
Karla - do what I did and send a Christmas card with a note in it.
I guess I will have to do that. I just checked and the tracking and it has left Reno and is expected to be delivered tomorrow...I would guess more than likely on Saturday though since we are now really in the Christmas Rush.
