I do my free motion quilting on my Bernina and need a design idea for this baby quilt.  I can do random swirls, hearts, stars, etc but need an idea for a baby type design.  I looked online for some but haven't seen any.  Any ideas? Thanks.

I love to do the swirls with loops and hearts on baby quilts. This design seems to give enough density that it will hold up for decades and looks adorable and suitable for baby!

Stephanie,

I enjoy the loops, hearts, stars, flowers, butterflies and the meandering for baby quilts. Here is a site with some baby pantographs you might like. http://www.sewthankful.com/BabyRelatedPantoPatterns.html

Here is another site you might like http://www.quiltscomplete.com/Departments/Paper-Pantographs.aspx?sortorder=2&page=5  There are several childrens designs there. Lots of gender specific patterns.

Hope this helps.

Stephanie,

Sorry, as for the pantograph sites I showed you. You can try drawing some of those ideas out and see if it's something you can do on your Bernina. I use a dry erase board to get pattern ideas.

Good luck.
