I have an Irish Blessings panel from block party studios. It has 3 panels...2 are actually 8 1/2" squares and one is like 14x18 I think.
I would like to make a 'quick quilt' for a wedding at the end of October and include these panels. I am usually pretty good at coming up with a pattern or adjusting one I already have but this time I am drawing a major blank.... I am thinking off white, green and maybe blue..brides favorite colors and the green will bring out the color in the panel.
Oh, almost forgot...I would like to make a lap quilt!
Thanks everyone! I can't wait to hear some suggestions and get my brain flowing again!

Could you post a pic of your panel? I think better when I have a visual,

Joy,
I love their panels & shirts - so fun! They have patterns & kits for some of the panels or you can improvise at it sounds like you want to do. That's what I did with one of the dog panels:
There were more "blocks" in the panel than I used, but I just wanted a number that would work with the size I was going for.

Eileen this is so cute I love it!

Good idea, I didn't think about that! I took these off the website because I still haven't purchased a new camera! One is just the panel and the other is showing them done. I think the second shows better the size of the material.
This is adorable Eileen! I should make one similar for my mother-in-law!
I've never seem their stuff before. I'm saving this link for future gifts. Very neat!

Thanks, everyone, for the compliments :-) My dog-owning friend got this & gave it to her sister who owns a dog grooming business - it hangs in her shop. I'm humbled.
Block Party Studios is often at the quilt shows, so you can get a look at their products there. Their shop is in Nevada, Iowa, near Ames. Liz K very kindly drove some of us there during the Midwest retreat.
Joy, I don't know if it's just me, but I can't see your images - are these the ones you posted:
I'm glad the Midwest retreat-ers were able to visit Block Party Studio. The owner, Jeanne, passed away on Sept 14 after a long battle with breast cancer. I've heard that her husband will be continuing the business. The panels discussed were her creation. Her last ones involved fighting cancer and another on a tribute to nurses. She will be missed.
