peggy, do you mean the top side and the under side? or the opposing sides? you can see the mitre. it is a diagonal seam from the corner of the quilt to the corner of the binding. so yes, the mitre is in the middle of the corner and can be seen. gini

Althea, how do I find your tutorial?
Just go to page one of this thread to see Thea's tutorial.
Check our youtube.com and look for a video called Binding Inside Angles for Quilts and Sewing---very helpful.
Good tip, Pat. Thanks for posting.

Hi! Your tutorial is fine but I would have to read it over and over and see the tutorial a couple of times to catch on. Sorry, I'm dense sometimes. I did find one on All People's Quilt.com that is a great video by 2 ladies that are showing the method. I'm going to try it with my next quilt. Check it out!
Do any of you use the binding clips to hold your bindings while you hand stitch them? Quilt shops charge a huge amount for them but try your local Dollar Store. They have them for just that $1. I think it's for a dozen or so and that's more than enough. I use 4 or 5 at a time, just keep moving them forward as you stitch.
