I'm not quite done with step 5 but am getting there.  I'm very interested in how all these long strips will go together.  Haven't played with it on the design wall yet.

As I was trying to put the puzzle together I got to thinking that there may be some more cutting in our future on these strips... not sure how or where, that's still got me baffled.  I definately think those 3 piece units are going to become triangles.

I am really getting behind on this.  I have printed the patterns but haven't done much yet.  Hope to have some time to catch up soon.

I agree with you on the triangles, but who knows because it's a mystery......

I sure hope they become triangles...my mind was telling me "y" seams and I was dreading that.

Hi Elizabeth, nice to meet you too. I'm afraid my traveling days are over since my DH passed away 3 years ago August. We used to camp near Cambria in our MH . Now I spend all my time in my Sewing room. My german shepard even knows this. Whenever I bring him in he runs right up the stairs and sits by the kid gate [ absolutely no room for him in there..lol ] and waits for me.. His treat jar is there. Very smart dog.If it weren't for him I probably wouldn't get any exercise at all. Well time for Church, then a trip to Jo-Ann's [ sale  on something I want ]..And there is no one to say I shouldn't.

Well, here are steps 3,4,5 together.  It sure is going to be a busy quilt.  I wonder if I can still find any more of this fabric to repeat it in the border to avoid bringing in any other colors or patterns.

Who said "Y" seams?  I don't think so.  The mystery quilts are usually pretty easy.  Triangles?  Could be...

I was out of town for 2 weeks, but before I left I got my strips cut.  I didn't get directions for steps 2 & 3 until last Wed. evening. I have step 3 finished for the first 2 kits.  So I need to get to work on the other 4 kits.  I did take time to do step 4 and 5 from kit 1, just to get a look at it.  Now it's time to get to work on the other kits.  I wasn't sure how my more pastel colors would work, but so far it's really pretty.  When I get these steps done, I may try to post a picture.

Had to put my dear 10yr old Black Lab down tues. He was my best friend, this is harder than when I lost my dad (sorry dad)

sewing is my refuge.

Hugs to all
